Bemidji Area Sertoma Club
  How we Serve

Our club raises funds to benefit speech and hearing, youth needs and other worthy endeavors we identify within our community. Examples of what we have done to date include:

Every year we sponsor children with hearing impediments to attend Camp Sertoma in Brainerd, which makes a huge positive impact in the life of these youth.

Each Thanksgiving and Christmas we donate complete holiday dinners to needy families who might not otherwise be able to afford a special meal.

Recently we purchased audiometers for the Schoolcraft charter school, to enable them to test all students for hearing.

We have supplied the hospital emergency room with care bags for the family of patients that must be air lifted out of town. These bags included essentials such as toiletries, snacks, and a calling card—things the family member didn’t have a chance to pack.
